If you want to get copywriting clients, you’ll probably run across something called a “spec assignment.”

I’ve put out a few of these in my time.

I also used them a couple different times as springboards into my successful client copywriting career.

At this point though, it would take a HUGE opportunity for me to consider doing a spec assignment or spec challenge.

Because once you have skills and reputation, you REALLY shouldn’t be doing spec work, or really any other free work.

But then how do you get clients?  In today’s episode, I share this transition PLUS two other ways to get clients when you’ve stopped doing spec work…
