Have you ever worried copywriting and marketing are unethical — even evil?

I certainly have.

In fact, I’ve observed and even ended up working with people whose behavior I’ve questioned.

If not illegal, their attitudes and behavior wade at least waist-deep into immoral and unethical territory.

Which makes me take this concern seriously.
