I have one point to make and I want to make it clearly and concisely.
It’s regarding what you need to do as a direct response copywriter.
The 3 rules you must follow. And here they are…
Rule #1: Sell.

This has come up many times recently, so I feel it necessary to underscore the point…
There are many, many things we often want to do as a copywriter, or think we should do… Don’t let those get in the way of selling.
There are many ideas we have for how to present our services to clients… Remember they want you to sell their products.
There are many ways we can judge our work… The most important of which is how well it sells.
If you want to be successful, learn how to create sales pitches in print, or any other media.
If you want to get clients, show them how you can help them make sales.
That’s what this entire business and craft comes down to. Selling. Nothing more, nothing less.
Remember that, and the world is your oyster.
