How do you format the copy documents you send to clients, if you want to look like a professional copywriter?

Although this seems like a very practical question, it’s packed with emotion underneath.

What will your clients think of you if you send them copy that’s not well-formatted, even designed?

Will they think you’re a true professional?

Or will they assume you’re not good enough?

That you’re not worth the money they spent?

(That train of thought goes down a dark tunnel real quick.)

I’ve been in marketing since 2005, a full-time freelancer since 2010, and have NEVER had someone tell me that my copy docs should be better formatted.
