I’ve been completely overwhelmed by the level of interest in “My response to a copywriter looking for career advice” from last Thursday.
This site officially “launched” last Monday. I’d been getting between 10 and 20 visitors to the site per day.
Then the post blew up on LinkedIn on Friday. More than 300 new people read it that day. It’s been getting over 100 people per day ever since. (Including Easter – Happy Easter, by the way!)
So I started asking, “What makes business content like this go viral.” (And I know it’s not 1,000,000 page views, but multiplying a brand new site’s traffic by 30X is relatively viral, and worth exploring.)
And so next week, I’m going to dedicate the entire week to looking at what makes content go viral.
It’ll be called The Anatomy of Viral Business Content.
