“A few minutes or hours with these Titans — in the flesh — will completely alter the course of your business, your career, your life!”
That was the 4th subhead in the live event sales letter for the Titans of Direct Response. I was writing it in Brian Kurtz’s voice. And it was based on a story I told about the first time Boardroom founder Marty Edelston hired Eugene Schwartz.
But that (like most of the Titans sales letter) resonated so much because I was also writing from MY experience.
I have my own stories and experiences with people who’ve been “Titans” in my life — including some who took the stage at Titans, and some who would’ve deserved a spot.
And it’s true: there’s no better learning experience than even just a few minutes or hours with someone who’s been there, done that, and is giving you direct feedback on your work.
