I was just having a conversation that made me remember this video…
It’s about YOU. And some of the language in it is NSFW.
That’s it for today. Make it a great weekend.

Showing YOU how to use them and profit!
Back in my secondary school (i think that’s high school in US terms) days, i was drawn to personalities that were flamboyant and smart at the same time. And it’s exactly as you described, like they got all their shit together. If only I was the same. It took me a really long time, and only really after I got into copywriting, and deeper dives into personal development I realized what it is you’re saying.
Everybody’s just putting up their best self for others to see.
And i think, to take it a level deeper, we disregard or fail to see the struggles they have because we become enamored by what’s shiny about them. This shiny thing about them, is essentially, the side of you that is lacking in development. but of course, everybody has their strengths and their weaknesses, and therefore struggle with different things. so in envying how people are having all their shit together, we can forget the good things we have together, our unique gifts and talents.
Thanks for showing up to the video, i love the authenticity of the message. And also all you’re putting up in your emails is good stuff.
P.S. I started reading “play bigger”, too.
Your face is beautiful. Your eyes so sincere. Your honesty disarming. You’re right, I do feel more connection with you by looking in your face. Your candor helped me get out from under the guilt trip of producing less than I wanted because of my family’s health demands. When I’m not producing on the level I want to, I struggle with feeling like a failure. But I’m not about to dump my daughter to be a bigger copy producer. So I feel like a burden has been lifted from listening to you, and as always, I’m continuing to climb the mountain. Thanks as always Roy.
