Agree! You're not the first I've talked with about this. The industry has a dearth of women at the very, very top — at least when it comes to folks who regularly step on stage — and I don't know why. However, I know there are some who are approaching in their career the point where they deserve this stage (Carline Anglade-Cole, for example).

And I'm not one who runs to every conference.
Many of these folks don’t really speak at all, or stopped speaking years ago. It won’t be cheap, but the price tag for this will probably be less than you’d expect with this lineup. But I’ve sworn secrecy on these important details!
This is going to be fantastic. I definitely will be doing my utmost to be in attendance. A once in a lifetime chance to learn from the greatest minds in Direct Response.

No Bob Bly?
I really like Bob. And he's certainly more well known than some of the folks who will be there — especially in Boardroom's current crop of top copywriters. However, especially when it came to that group is was all about quantity of profitable direct mail pieces mailed, and those are the winners, by the numbers. (Bob's written for Boardroom, but they are not a primary client.) All of the others were selected for very specific reasons to fill out the direct response bill to cover principles, strategies, different media, etc.
I really wish that I could go to this! I am really hoping to work with Boardroom in the near future…. I'm working on my spec assignment for Boardroom to be turned in at AWAI's Bootcamp and Job Fair.
It won't be cheap… But if you're into direct response for the long run, it will be a huge learning opportunity, and one of the rare occasions where you get to say "I was there" for an even folks will likely be talking about for years.
Maybe I'll see you there?
