Hey there Rainmaker, I’m continuing to write a book as you watch…
Today’s chapter is still part of the intro section on getting started with the book.
Its working title is “What To Expect By The Time You’re Done With This Book.”
If you’re familiar with Neuro Linguistic Programming — or, NLP — you may recognize this as future-pacing.
I’m putting the reader into an imaginary future, in which they’ve already achieved the results they want.
It sets the direction for what they will learn.
It gets them emotionally involved in the results we will create, through their application of the principles I teach.
It’s good practice!
Imagine for a moment three years into the future…
You’ve not only read this book, but put it to work in your business. What’s different as a result?
Because of what you discovered in Breakthrough Marketing Secrets, you’ve created a business you could hardly have imagined three years ago. In fact, thinking back, you probably wouldn’t even recognize it!
Your business has become much more effective at three primary marketing tasks:
- Getting more new clients and customers.
- Getting past customers to come back to your business more often.
- Getting your customers to spend more each time they do business with you.
Everything runs more smoothly, more efficiently. Many of your main marketing goals are accomplished on near auto-pilot.

Okay, at the risk of losing you… I will admit, much of that feels like fantasy land. Many of these promises have been made many times before.
And yet — once you’ve implemented many of these strategies in your business, you will begin to notice that you’re building more of what marketing expert Joe Polish calls an ELF business — one that’s Easy, Lucrative, and Fun. And that you’re leaving behind a HALF business — one that’s Hard, Annoying, Lame, and Frustrating.
That’s the power of having the right business, marketing, and selling systems in place in your business. That’s the power at your disposal in the pages of this book.
Don’t lose the lesson from our little trip to the imaginarium, either.
There are businesses that function largely in the way I described. And they didn’t get that way by accident. Systems and structures were put in place — many similar to those you’ll discover in the pages of this book — to make the business function that way.
If that’s what you want from your business, it pays to take a little trip to the imaginarium once in a while, and put some thought into what your business could be.
Then use lessons like the ones in this book to turn these dreams for your business into a reality. Even if it means dramatic changes!
