I got this email from a copywriter — and it got me fired up!

“Oh please! So cheesy.. Free ! All you do is pay shipping.  Granted  ,if the product is 50 dollars or more  , fair enough.  I will never use these tactics! You have learned from the wrong people so l am not interested in reading your books or emails”

Note the impeccable writing, punctuation, use of spaces, and other attention to detail.

But that’s not even the worst part!

This guy is wrong, wrong, wrong.

And, in being as wrong as he is, he’s actually doing himself and any clients he might get a HUGE disservice.

Not only that, if he’s actually tasked with selling products that can solve a prospect’s problem and change their life for the better?  He’s doing those prospects a disservice, too!

Warning: Rant ahead…

In today’s video, I go off on this guy.

Because without this offer, my book would certainly not have gotten into nearly as many aspiring and novice copywriters’ hands.

And if, for example, it didn’t get into Steve’s hands, he would’ve never posted this on Facebook:

“Hi Roy, I bought your book: The copywriter’s guide to getting paid and it helped me land my first free ‘spec’ client which later led to my first paying client. I LOVE your daily videos, keep up the good work Sir.”

And if Tjark hadn’t grabbed a copy, perhaps because of this offer, he would’ve never written this review:

“Every Aspiring Copywriter Should Read This Book.  I landed my first client seven days after reading Roy’s book. And if you do what Roy says, you can easily do the same.  Needless to say, this is a must have book for any copywriter who wants to get their first client or land better, higher paying clients.”

I don’t even know how many copywriters have gotten their first clients or otherwise had their lives positively impacted by this book, at a multiple of 1,000X or more of that shipping and handling charge.

But I do know this offer works and if I wasn’t using it, there’s a likelihood that the number of copywriters my book helped would be much smaller.

But that’s just the beginning of my rant…
