Million-dollar business-building ideas … From a pizza joint?
Fellow Business-Builders, Happy Holidays! This week I want to share an article I first sent to my regular newsletter list.? Usually I write a post exclusively for The Total Package , but this article got some great feedback so I am including it here, and expanding on it with further ideas.? First thing that’s important: ? I am always on the lookout for unusual marketing ideas people are using to promote their business.? Many times I see these wacky marketing ideas offline, and they can easily be applied online. To me, the opportunity offline is great if done right. There is very little competition (decent competition) in the physical mail space … now compare that with your prospect’s e-mail inbox! To you, this means the difference between 230 e-mails to compete with … or one or two other envelopes in the mail box

Resolutions will be made?… new leaves turned?… and millions of people the world over will discover (or rediscover, many for the thirteenth time) the secrets of achievement, manifestation, and true happiness – thanks to the power of positive thinking and purposeful living. Change will be in the air?… and for a few weeks after the New Year, all manner of neural gyrations will ensue?… Out of shape dudes and dudettes will be busily visualizing how trim and sexy they’ll look having shed x pounds by x date?… … The materially ambitious will be frantically delegating ?to document the specific details of the new car, house, or vacation of their dreams?… pictures collected and pasted into little “dream books” … …The lonely will be describing their ideal mate on 3?5 flash cards and pulling them out of their purses and wallets to read three times a day?… … And entrepreneurs will be reciting power affirmations to keep them on track and moving diligently toward their new revenue and profit goals for the year ahead
What’s Working Best NOW
Random Musings and Brain Droppings On the Current State of Direct Response Marketing Dear Business Builder, Rather than attempt to focus on one topic, let’s try a little stream of consciousness stuff today – stuff I’ve been thinking about that I’m hoping will help you get some bigger winners… Type Questions: Recently, I’ve seen a lot of debate online – and a lot of confusion – about which typefaces promote maximum readability. Common wisdom says that in print, serif typefaces like Times Roman (the face used by most newspapers that has little ruffles and flourishes on the characters) are the most readable. The characters are heavy enough to be easily readable even when they’re relatively small – as in the 9 point type commonly used in newspapers
